Should we obtain the products via dealers or directly from you?
This varies according to the products required or scope of solution as well as the nature and location of the project. They can be procured via dealers as well as directly.
Where is the EAE production facility?
EAE has production facilities in 5 regions, comprising of 4 regions in Turkey and 1 region abroad.

Manufacturing of busbar systems, lighting products and board solutions are carried out in the facilities on Istanbul''s European Side. Whereas cable ducts, suspension systems and machinery production are being manufactured at the Gebze, Kocaeli factories.
Are there any imported items?
Certain products like insulation materials of high resistance are being imported. The amount of such imported products is well below 5%.
Do you provide technical support services as well?
Upon transferring our expertise on the products and solutions to our customers, we ensure that the best possible solutions are generated. Services like designing, technical support, electrical calculations, mechanical calculations, simulation works and such are provided by EAE.
Do you provide transportation services?
Solutions are generated to meet the varying demands and requirements of our customers. To ensure the most economical cost, our products are delivered ex-works on board the customers'' own vehicle. Transportation means can also be provided by EAE depending on the project and specific requirements of the customer.
Do you provide installation services?
Project design and technical support services in respect of the products and solutions are being provided. Technical support is also provided to those companies involved with the implementation of installation services.
What is Busbar?
Busbar Systems comprise of a sophisticated and modern energy transmission and distribution system of modular structure, used in place of cabling.

Busbar System could also be referred to as busbar duct system.
What is a bar?
Busbar system could also be called a bar duct in short.
Is there an busbar price list?
As the main components of any busbar system is comprised of metals like copper, aluminum and steel plate, busbar costs and prices vary according to the current market prices of such raw materials. Therefore, there is no applicable price list. The total cost is quoted in accordance with the project scope.
What is a busbar outlet box used for?
It enables the supply of power to any machinery, equipment or board upon proving a branch (connection) from the busbar system.
Why should busbar be preferred? What are its advantages?
Advantages of a busbar system could be listed as Premium physical and modular structure, lowest possible voltage drop, high performance, short circuit resistance, high grade of fire resistance, feature regarding non-emission of toxic gases (halogen free) as well as non-inflammability, ease in designing, proper solution generation, modern outlook, minimum size, reduced dimensions of the main board, physical endurance, ease of maintenance and installation, low installation cost and cost efficiency.
At which intervals are busbar suspension systems be used? (Distances)
In horizontal runs of the busbar systems, suspension should be provided every 1.5 metres. Whereas in the case of vertical distribution installations, the system should be affixed to the floor slab on each storey.
What should be the spacing between adjacent busbars?

How is a busbar insulation test conducted?
It is made by using a Megger insulation test instrument. Before busbar systems are commissioned, they should strictly pass through insulation tests and relevant commissioning procedures should be implemented.
Could the mainframe of the busbar be used as eart conductor?
The mainframe (body) of any busbar which is duly tested, certificated and manufactured according to IEC and TS-EN standards could be used as eart conductor (protection circuit).
Are busbar conductors tin-plated?
Busbar conductors (aluminum-copper) should strictly be tin-plated.
What is epoxy coating?
Epoxy coating is an insulation material used on the KX series busbar systems manufactured by EAE, which is highly durable, incorporating premium features in respect of insulation, fire-resistance and over-heating.
Which conductor material is used on busbar systems?
Busbar systems incorporate two alternative options, namely aluminum and copper. Aluminum is preferred due to being less heavy and more cost-efficient.
Is any busbar fire-resistant?
Busbar systems which are duly tested, certificated and manufactured according to IEC 60331-1 and BS 6387 standards incorporate such specifications like flame retardation, non-inflammability as well as non-emission of any toxic gases in case of fire (halogen free). The KX series premium design compact busbar systems are capable of sustaining their functions for 3 hours in case of fire generating heat at 830 0C temperatures.
What is a dilatation (expansion) module?
This is a flexible module used in lines of length in excess of 40 metres or at block passages of large-sized building structures, incorporating busbar line expansion, extension as well as shrinkage characteristics.
What is an offset module?
This is a module made as a combination of two turning modules, enabling the changing of the installation height or position of the busbar system

Do you offer supervisory services?
Supervisory services only are being provided for such activities as itinerary determination of busbar systems, project control, on-site measurements, keeping of the survey book, prescribing the assembly particulars, installation training, intermediate busbar measurement and fixing, Megger insulation test and final control.
Is any busbar system paintable?
Provided the colour code is notified in advance prior to the manufacturing process, the busbar system can be supplied with a painted finish. Painting on site after production is not advisable.
What is a cable duct?
Cable ducts are made to fix and support the laying of insulated cables for power distribution and data communication in and around building structures. They comprise modular lengths which are joined together on site to support the cables.
What is a cable tray?
Has the same meaning with as cable duct.
How should cable ducts be stored?
Details and particulars with respect to the storage of cable ducts are provided in our technical manual. They should be stored in a well-ventilated environment, protected against water and humidity.
What is E-30/E90 test?
This is an international criteria expressing that function integrity is ensured in case of fire. Its basic objective is to ensure that functional sustenance of vital systems for human life such a lighting, elevator and announcement systems are maintained in case of any fire. Considering that the cabling in respect of the aforesaid systems are made through and over cable carrying systems, it is seen more clearly how essential it is that the latter systems enable functional sustenance. The test therefor is carried out inside a special test oven that can be heated-up in accordance with a Standard temperature-time curve. Depending on maintaining and sustaining the functionality of cabling systems, E30-E90 grades are prescribed and these are mandatory for use at low voltage facilities not exceeding 1kV as a standard.
What is a pre-formed duct (pre-formed cable duct)?
This is a duct type where resistance? (strength?) is enhanced through pre-forming (inflection) of each and every opening on the duct.
Could pre-formed ducts be thinner yet stronger?
Yes, a stronger construction is obtained when using thinner steel plated on pre-formed ducts.
Are cable ducts fire-resistant?
Any cable duct passing the E30-E90 test and properly assembled is fire-resistant.

What is a lighting busbar?
In premises where lighting fixtures are placed in rows, these are the busbar systems used for distributing the lighting power to those fixtures. Outlets are provided through simple sockets and power is supplied to the fixtures using tap-off plugs.

What is an under-floor busbar?
This is the busbar system for distributing power to the desks and equipment in modern office spaces where a raised floor feature is installed.
What is an under-floor duct system?
These duct systems are installed in Office spaces where the power distribution is made through screed concrete, placed within the screed concrete and enabling power distribution to the desks and such other equipment at the office.
What is an under-floor socket box?
For those users utilizing screed installation ducts, under-floor busbars and piping equipment providing mains supply, UPS energy outlet, or telephone-data and such similar connection outlets.
What is un under-floor cable duct?

What is an under-floor box?
This is an installation item used under a raised floor or screed concrete system enabling connection or providing outlets.
What s a bureau-type block?
This is an interior space installation item designed to provide power and data requirements to the desks and other such equipment in office units.
What is a trolley busbar?
Trolley busbar supplies power to moving machinery systems like a mobile crane or machines moving on a line, ensuring power connection from a moving power supply trolley picking up power along a fixed busbar system.
What is a hoist busbar?
Has the same meaning as a trolley busbar.
